Introduction

This resort is set on a prime and quiet stretch of beach in the middle of Sunrise Beach, so it’s a pity that the owners don’t bother to keep the resort or beach clean.

The resort doesn’t have any communal facilities, and visitors shouldn’t expect service of any kind – requests for soap or towels will be met with bewildered looks. The 40 bungalows in the resort are laid out on 4 rows, with no vegetation or trees providing any shade.

The bamboo fan bungalows are only a year old, so still in good condition. While the resort isn’t anything to get excited about, it does offer clean and cheap bungalows, so is a reasonable budget choice, if the better Moonlight Resort’s bamboo bungalows are full, and if the best bungalows at the Andaman Resort are full, and if the Moonlight is full.
