The Weather
All over Thailand from December to March the weather is reliably dry, and not too hot. April is still dry, but too hot for some people. May is a month to avoid the whole country, as it is often characterised by torrential rain, especially on the west coast.
From June to September it continues to rain on the west coast, but dries up a bit to the north and the east, so making northern Thailand and the islands in the Gulf of Thailand more popular than the Andaman Sea coast destinations during these months.
During October and November it rains quite a bit all over the country - as earlier in the year, it rains more on the west coast.
