Climb, dive, fish in Thailand - Children

The following are the minimum ages recommended for children participating in adventure sports in Thailand :

Climbing - 6 years

Kayaking - 2 years

Diving - 12 years

Fishing - 6 years

Childcare - Ao Nang, Railay, Koh Lao Liang

If you want to bring your children along when you climb, dive, kayak or fish (whether or not they participate) then please let us know so that Andaman Adventures can arrange a suitable itinerary and extra staff so that you will have enough help. Child care arrangements in Ao Nang, Lao Liang and Railay depend on how extreme you want to adventure and on your children's ages, please contact us to discuss. If you want to do anything too extreme then you will not be able to take your children along. In this case we will arrange the following child-care:

(1) ages 8 to 18 - cared for at Tex Outdoor Adventure Centre and participate in actvities there

(2) ages 2 to 8

Either

(a) Can be cared for by a one-on-one nanny at Tex Outdoor Adventure Centre so that the child can be with any siblings who are being cared for there. Your child will not participate in any of the adventure activities but will be amused and diverted.

or

(b) Can be cared for in resort.

(3) under 2 years - in resort
