Deep water solo is a real wake-up call to the muscles and mind.

Climb out of a kayak straight up a rock-face, with nothing on but some climbing shoes (and a pair of shorts, unless you really want to show off). When you have climbed as high as you dare or can, simply jump or fall in the water. This feels scary, but is actually extremely safe, as we know exactly where it is safe to jump in. You are completely safe at this new and fun sport. |
It's a great challenge to have a go at, but it's almost as much fun watching other people fall in, or steel themselves to jump in, then scream or yell on the way down. What is it about watching other people fall into water that causes so much mirth ?
