No, it’s not Wormwood Scrubs Correctional Institute. No, it’s not the barracks of the Royal Fusiliers. It’s Lanta’s Pada hotel, which is by no stretch of the imagination an architectural masterpiece and in no way fits in with its tropical beach surroundings. The hotel does, however, offer clean and comfortable rooms at reasonable rates so, if you are planning to spend your time out on daytrips and all you are looking for is a place to sleep, this is an OK place to stay.
