This is not only Khlong Kong Beach’s most expensive resort, it is also it’s ugliest - by a mile. It not only lacks the rustic Thai architecture that suits Thai beach resorts so well, it lacks any Thai architectural influence, or indeed any beach resort architectural influence, at all. Resembling a cheap block of concrete flats, this building has no business despoiling Lanta’s best snorkeling beach.

This eyesore’s only redeeming feature is that it is set far enough back from the beach that it is not visible except when the viewer is directly in front of it. The only good reason to stay here is if you have been recently released from a correctional institute and are missing the architecture. This resort’s amenities and rooms are well-presented and immaculately clean, but it is not recommended.
