One Day Jungle Trekking

Description

Pickup is at 7.30am from Khao Lak or at 8.30am from Khao Sok Visitor Centre.

	We will trek 14 kilometres through Khao Sok with an experienced guide who speaks  English well. The advantage of having a good guide is that local guides have knowledge of the trees, flowers and plants. They have walked the trails many times in the past and their eyes are more adjusted to the rain forest, so they can spot small insects and lizards you would never see, plus steer you clear of danger.
Various snakes are frequently seen on the trails. You have the chance to see civet cats, slow loris, wild pigs, deer or maybe even a spotted leopard cat. Majestic trees tower high above the trail, some of them cloaked in creepers and vines.
	After stopping for lunch at Bang Liap Nam waterfall, we trek on to Ton Gloy waterfall. Along the way you can see many of Khao Sok biggest trees. The trail follows the course of the river, so you can stop and swim at any time.

Drop off is at Khao Sok Visitor’s Centre at 4pm, or 5.00pm in Khao Lak
