The bamboo huts in this resort come with polished wood verandas and immaculately clean mosquito nets. The exceptionally friendly Thai-British owners have an excellent, sociable restaurant and run a cooking course in the high season. It also has larger family bungalows and stays open year-round. |
| Located in the heart of Andaman Beach, Woodland Lodge has a variety of comfortably furnished and clean bungalows, all of which have en-suite toilets and showers. The Family Bungalows are an especially good bargain and are big enough for the whole family. |

If you're looking for a hut which is more traditional in design then you're looking for what Woodland calls its Double Bungalows. Generally located in the back of the resort, they are slightly smaller and a little cheaper than the Family Bungalows, but the walk to the beach is a little longer: one minute versus 30 seconds. |
The bungalows are very, very quiet. With their tiled bathrooms, large beds, thatched roofs and comfortable porches, these bungalows are some of the best bargains on Koh Jum.
Reservations at this highly popular resort are recommended during the high season. It’s possible to turn up on the island and find a bungalow at any time of year, but this place will probably be full.
