Introduction

Boossabakorn Spa is the only quality spa in Ao Nang that is conveniently located.

	The only other establishment of comparable quality is the one at the Centara resort, Ao Nang’s only 5 star resort, which is inconveniently located on the bay next to town. To reach the Centara requires either a stiff hike over the peninsula or a boat ride, making the spa there inconvenient unless you are staying there.
So, the Boossabakorn is the only conveniently-located quality spa in Ao Nang. It benefits from a sister relationship with the Relax spa in Koge, Denmark, from whom various exotic ingredients are imported and who have inspired several of the treatments on the Boosabakorn’s extensive menu.

Why Go ?

A question many travelers ask themselves is why to go to a spa at all, when a massage can be had for only a few hundred Baht in numerous places all over town. The main reasons to spend several times as much money at the spa are as follows:

	For ladies, the spa offers a range of exotic treatments that no massage or beauty shop in town can compete with. There is such a wide range of esoteric treatments on offer that ladies are guaranteed never to run out of scope for new experiences. Using imported ingredients and trained staff, the spa offers high quality beauty treatments unavailable elsewhere in town. So, if a lady fancies a scrub, wrap, facial, beauty treatment or hair cut (or all of these) then the spa is the place to go if she can afford the prices.
The quality is reliably high – the quality of massage at the cheap places all over town is very hit and miss and you are as likely to get a lazy masseuse as an energetic and competent one. If you are in town for a lengthy stay then it is worth trying out a few of the cheap places and finding a masseuse who does a good job, and then to keep going back to her. If you are here for a shorter period, though, you may not wish to risk getting a few poor massages before you find a good masseuse  - in this case, it’s best to go to the spa, where the massage is always high quality.
	The Boosabakorn Spa is a beautifully decorated, tranquil place where the visitor is enveloped in a peaceful and rarified atmosphere, which forms a suitably relaxed venue for an unabashedly indulgent pampering session.

Booking

The spa will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in the Ao Nang area as part of the treatment price. They are open from 10am to 10pm daily. There are two ways to book the spa:
