This small run-of-the-mill hotel has 3 well decorated room types. The restaurant is poorly furnished in fake rattan but is well lit and spacious, serving an early 6:30am breakfast. The website describes 4 floors of promised ocean views which upon inspection are not delivered. The Benyada Lodge does however have a roof top bar with pool with unobstructed views of the Casuarinas by the beach, but still no ocean.
The Studio is the standard room type here, and standard describes it well, it has bad wiring, no view of anything from its balcony, where its air-con is secreted, and a dark and gloomy bathroom.
This is brighter and more thoughtfully decorated than the Studio, but still has a dark bathroom and no space for the balcony furniture on the balcony because the air-con unit takes up all the space.
The Junior Suite comes with a poor attempt at a 4-poster bed and a bath with one of those interesting windows that are operated from outside the bathroom, allowing for whoever is in the room to gaze unhindered on any ablutions taking place. About the most exciting thing we can write is that all of the rooms have an umbrella holder outside the door.
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge.
