In these dirty rooms the bed consists of a mattress placed directly on the floor, thus placing its occupants whithin easy reach of all the creepy crawlies that the porous walls let in. These mattresses have seen better days, and the only occupants who will feel comfortable there are their permanent residents, the bed bugs. The Asian style squat toilets won't be to many peoples' liking, and nor will the mouldy, smelly and holed mosquitoe nets, through which mosquitoes pass at will. If all you can afford on Railay is the Cabana, you are advised to go and instead stay in nearby Ao Nang, which has way better budget options and from where you can reach Railay with ease on day-trips.
