The Moonlight Resort is the best budget resort on Pattaya Beach. It is pretty new, having opened in November 2009, and so still in good condition.
The resort has internet at the front desk as well as a small shop and a 'juice booth' from which they make fresh cool drinks to sit and watch the sunset with.
Best of all, they have the only affordable massage shop on Pattaya beach, which is situated on the 2nd floor (above the reception), giving you not only great views of the ocean, but also making it pleasantly private place for a good pummeling.
It is one of the best spots on the beach to unwind, both mentally and physically.
In our opinion this is one of the two best budget resorts on the entire Andaman coast, along with Ulmar's Nature Lodge on Koh Yao Noi.
Accommodation
The accommodation is above basic and very clean, making it great value. Each clean and smart fan bungalow has a hammock, a clean bathroom and mosquito net, and a comfortable 5 foot bed. If you are looking for a budget bungalow on Pattaya beach, look no further. Baby cots and extra beds are not possible. If you wish to share your bed with an infant (3 years old or younger) then that is fine and free, but the resort don't accept 3-in-a-bed bookings for older children.
